Just when you thought Marvel was done with the Infinity Stones, a new leak suggests that the Time Stone will play an important role in Benedict Cumberbatch's Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness. The new leak comes a week after the film's director, Scott Derrickson, dropped out due to creative differences. Here's everything the Doctor Strange 2 recap revealed.

Inside 'Doctor Strange 2' synopsis
Marvel has been very quiet about the plot of Doctor Strange 2, but inside sources have leaked several details regarding the story. For starters, we know that Wanda Maximoff, aka the Scarlet Witch (Elizabeth Olsen), is set to play a significant role in the movie.

Wanda will appear in her own show, WandaVision, on Disney+, and the events of the series are expected to influence what happens in Doctor Strange 2. Other than that, we don't know much about the movie - yet.
According to We Got This Covered, an insider got hold of the official synopsis for Part 2 and leaked it online. Marvel hasn't confirmed that the synopsis is legit, and even if it is, things could certainly change between now and when a new director takes over.
The synopsis talks about how Doctor Strange resumes his search for the Time Stone after defeating Thanos (Josh Brolin) in Avengers: Endgame. It also teases that friend will turn into foe in the character's second outing.

What does summary mean?
There are many things to take away from the Doctor Strange 2 recap. The most obvious element is the mention of an old friend, who some fans speculate is Baron Mordo (Chiwetel Ejiofor).
In the first movie, Mordo has lost all faith in the old movie and concludes that there are too many wizards to his liking. His return also caused a stir in the post-credits scenes, which is why fans think the synopsis is about him and not Wanda.
